Education Celebration Set for Jan. 21

Thousands of students, parents and educators are expected to attend the Long Beach Unified School District’s 16th Annual Education Celebration from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 21 at Cabrillo High School’s main gymnasium.

This year’s theme is the Get on the Ball, Get Active.  To balance the rigorous academic programs that 菠菜网lol正规平台 offers, the Education Celebration's focus will be on exercising the body as well as the brain.

Parents of students entering kindergarten through eighth grade will find information on each elementary, K-8 and middle school under one roof.

Free transportation is available from all 菠菜网lol正规平台 high schools.  The departure schedule is:  Lakewood, 8:30 a.m.; Jordan, 8:45 and 9:45 a.m.; Millikan, 8:25 a.m.; Wilson, 8:35 a.m.; and Poly at 8:45 and 9:45 a.m.  For more information, call 997-8321.
